Pastoral Profile Nottingham Christian Congregational Church is a small church settled in the hills of southeastern New Hampshire. We are members of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference www.ccccusa.com, who believe that the Bible is the highest authority of God. Nottingham is a bedroom community nestled in between the seacoast and the mountains of New Hampshire with access to surrounding lakes. We are within an hour and a half of Boston and are centrally located within 30 miles of cities such as Portsmouth, Concord, Manchester, Exeter, and Dover, as well as the State of Maine. This small church in a country setting is blessed with a strong, loving church family. Music is integrally important to our worship service, and we are very fortunate to have a very involved and talented congregation. We place great emphasis on the youth of our congregation and of our community. For more information about Nottingham please see www.nottingham-nh.gov and/or www.nh.gov We are looking for a Biblically-based dynamic preacher who will strengthen us with leadership training and outreach to the surrounding community and churches. We would like him to have a strong sense of family and some prior experience in church leadership. He should also have the ability to relate to people of all ages, 4 to 94, with a special emphasis on youth ministry. His character must fulfill 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9. This position is ¾ time with a current compensation package in the $55K-$60K* range. While this is not full-time, we are looking for a person who will help us to build this into a full-time position as we continue to grow in Christ.
